Email Fraud Alert received from: Hilton
I recently received an email with this subject line: A golfer in Warwick wants to date-yo! and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:
A golfer near you wants to date-you!
The above email was sent by “Casey” from this email address: golfmates@regaing.club
I, Hilton, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Casey”:
First of all I don’t stay in Warwick, secondly I don’t play golf, thirdly the link supplied takes you to a Browser Opinion survey. If this is not phishing then it is fraudulent in it’s methods.
This has NOTHING to do with finding a Golf Mate
