Do not open emails from unfamiliar email addresses. Don’t fall prey to subject titles such as, “You Won, Claim Your Prize Now or Free Item Inside” just name a few
Do not donate to unfamiliar charities
Use PayPal as opposed to entering your credit card information
Check online reviews for “discount” websites
Request a signature only delivery for package
Have the package delivered to a trusted family member, friend or neighbor who will be home during the delivery period
