FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF/Gray News) – Several former QVC employees were arrested in South Carolina.
Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office said they worked with global security operations at QVC to arrest five former employees who are charged with breach of trust with fraudulent intent.
The sheriff’s office identified the five suspects as 35-year-old Jessica Demetric Purvis, 51-year-old Tameka L. Rogers, 24-year-old Imani Kadijah Rogers, 25-year-old Yaysher Damion Grice and 33-year-old Jaquanna Miesha Davis.
The suspects allegedly fraudulently manipulated refund credits for purchased items even though the goods were not returned.
The amount of fraudulent refunds is estimated at more than $58,000.00.
The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are likely.
