Transnet National Ports Authority Banking Details have not changed

Post a Fraud Alert:

Transnet Senior Manager in Customer Relations, Eugene Kearns issued the follwoing warning today; “We have become aware of the attached letter in circulation that advises of a change in our banking details. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: the letter is fraudulent and our account details have not changed. All bona fide Transnet National Ports Authority communiqués will appear on the official Transnet corporate letterhead. The fraudulent letter in question does not appear on this letterhead and features several spelling errors.

“Please take precaution and disregard such notification.

“Should you continue to receive such, kindly inform us urgently or report the matter to the South African Police Services (SAPS). You may also contact the Transnet Fraud Hotline on 0800 003 056.”
