Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Better Business Bureau is warning Pinterest users about a new phishing scam targeting the popular photo-sharing site.
They say Pinterest users are receiving emails notifying them of a successful password reset.
Users should not click on the link. Users should handle all password issues through the website.
The agency says that those who click on it will be taken through a series of redirects before arriving at a compromised website.
All computer users should perform routine checks for malware and spyware, as well as viruses.
