    It reeks of scam. 1. Why would he pay excess on the amount which was clearly stated? I agree with Alan, he had raised valid points. An email alone does not guarantee any funds paid in your account as this can be just an email similar to the SMS which they send purportedly from “your bank” notifying you of the payment. The safest way is to check your balance and ensured the monies had cleared.
