Email Fraud Alert received from: Bill
I recently received an email with this subject line: Dear Lucky Winner and I am concerned that it could be an attempt at defrauding me. Let me know in the comments section what you think, please.
The full contents of the suspected fraudulent (phishing / scamming) e-mail appear below:
Dear Lucky Winner ,
We are pleased to inform you of the result of the Microsoft Online season Winners International programs held on the 15 September,2015. Your E-mail address attached to ticket #:538-6064-15 with prize #:52-418-042, drew $5,500,000.00 which was in the 2nd category of the draws. You are to receive $5,500,000.00 (Five Million,Five Hundred Thousand Pounds).This program is in conjunction with British Asia and European Governments and the Microsoft Award International.

I, Bill, have the following thoughts/comments on this suspected fraudulent email message from “Microsoft Notification”:
‘Annabel’ you are obviously looking for some ‘special’ person who does not realise that hitting REPLY will not get through to you.
Then, how can that special person be expected to realise that they have to copy and paste your email address to ‘claim’ their prize?
The only service I will expect from you is to be Farked!
